  Text	Fall Causes Death of Aged Township Lady Mrs. Theresa Hucke, another one of Millstadt's venerable old inhabitants, died at St. Elizabeth's Hospital at Belleville on Friday evening at 9:50 o'clock. Death was the direct result of a fall she had about 4 weeks ago in which she injured her hip. She was taken to the hospital shortly thereafter & remained in that institution up to her death. The deceased had reached the ripe age of 90 years, 4 months, 12 days. Mrs. Hucke was born in Belleville on Feb 3, 1844, a daughter of Phillip & Elizabeth (Nehring) Wenzel. She was married to Louis Hucke in the sixties. Her husband died several years ago. She was one of the few widows of a veteran of the Civil War in Millstadt Township. The deceased leaves six children; Louis Hucke in Smithton Township, Joseph Hucke of the Belleville Road, Frank Hucke south of Millstadt,and Peter Hucke, at home with his mother south of town; Maggie, wife of Adam Roos, southwest of here, Bertha, wife of Peter Rau, near Waterloo. She also leaves 10 grandchildren & two great grandchildren. The funeral was held on Monday morning from the home to St. James Catholic Church where services were held by Rev. Father Henery Alberg.
