Catherine O'Shea's Christening dress was a gift from her godmother - whose identity is not known with certainty, but was most likely her aunt Bridget Cotter. The same dress was used for all of Catherine's brothers and sisters, her daughters Susan and Carol, and all of her nieces and nephews, with the exception of the children of Bill and Shirley. The dress was then used for the baptisms of Sue's children, Matt, Steve, and Jon Hucke, and Steve's first son Ben. The slip that accompanies it was made from Catherine's wedding gown. The christening dress, over ninety years old, is now in the possession of Sue Hucke. [S24] Wedding Programs.
