    2. [S22] Obituary - Various.
      William Hucke, 64-year-old former resident of Belleville, died of a heart ailment in the St. Louis City Hospital at 9 O'clock this morning following several years' illness. He had been residing at 3908 Connecticut Street in St. Louis.

      Mr. Hucke formerly was a florist in Belleville. He moved to St. Louis about 25 years ago and established a candy store but continue to make frequent visits to the city.

      He was born in Belleville on August 27, 1872, and was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. August C. Hucke, nee Ernestine Keim, both natives of Germany. He never married.

      Surviving are a brother, Walter Hucke, Berkeley, Cal.; two nephews and three nieces.

      Preceding him in death were Mrs. Lena Eyssell of Kansas City, Mrs. Otto Steuer, Los Angeles, Cal.; Charles Hucke, St. Louis; Otto Hucke, Belleville, and Albert Hucke, Los Angeles, Cal.

      Funeral 9 o'clock Tuesday morning from the Gundlach and Co. Funeral Home to Walnut Hill Cemetery. Rev. D. C. Boyd, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, will officiate.

      The pallbearers will be Fred Schrader, Adolph Barnickol, Philip Ross, John Klee, Roland Turo and Walter L. Rhein.
