      John L. Loseman, Sr.
      October 22, 1928 - September 15, 2012

      John Loseman, Sr., 83, of Batesville, died Saturday, September 15, 2012 at White River Medical Center.
      He was born on October 22, 1928 in St. Louis, Missouri to John Henry and Loretta (Herzog) Loseman.
      He retired from White-Rodgers after 30 years of service where he was a supervisor and in charge of special projects. He enjoyed working on his farm, reading, and crossword puzzles. He was a member of the St. Mary’s Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus, and a past president of the Batesville Kiwanis Club.
      Survivors include his wife, Rosemary (Nogalski) Loseman of Batesville; a son, John Loseman, Jr. and a daughter, Christine McKinney, both of Batesville; four grandchildren: Judy Loseman of Batesville, Tiffanie Goodson of Oklahoma City, OK, Andrea McMurray of Salina, KS and Robert Allan McKinney III; and one great-grandchild, Madelynn Rose McMurray also of Salina; and several nieces and nephews.
      He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Bobby Loseman; and two sisters: LaVerne Patriquin and Marlene Collins.
      The funeral mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Father Phanraj Narla officiating. A private graveside burial will be at Oaklawn Cemetery under the direction of Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Batesville.
      Pallbearers will be Micheal Boeckman, Jerry Nogalski, Thomas Nogalski, Gary Patriquin, Mikcalh Pizalotto, and Ronald Ross. Honorary pallbearer is James Heydolph.
      Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. A Rosary will follow the visitation at 7:00 p.m.
