      Carl J. Hucke, Jr. went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Monday May 8, 2006 surrounded by his family.

      A man of faith cherished by his wife, Judith Hucke (nee Van Nice) and the late Elma Hucke (nee Williams); beloved father of Ann (Michael G.) Brown and Kathleen (Tony) Iggens; grandfather of Jennifer (Trent) Stober, Susan Spellmeyer, Angela (Nathan) Habhab and Kurt (Melissa) Jackson; cousin of Patricia Gerst. Dear great grandfather of 8, stepfather, uncle, and brother-in-law.

      Capt. Hucke spent his entire 36 year career with the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Troop C, Kirkwood. He retired in 1984 as Commander of Troop C, which comprised of 13 counties and is the largest in the state of Missouri.
